The Metropolitan Leadership Institute was established in 2011 to provide educational assistance and leadership training to residents in the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Area by providing scholarships for youth, as well as facilitating community service programs designed to enhance the economic, health, and cultural well being of families. It is our committed goal to make a positive impact in the Greater Kansas City community we serve, and to change lives for the better through our many program initiatives in conjunction with the Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The Metropolitan Leadership Institute is a 501(c)3 organization, and donations are tax deductible to the extent that the donation exceeds the value or any good or service provided
